Objective: Students will engage in an immersive clay workshop, creating sculptures inspired by elements of Hispanic heritage. They will explore cultural symbolism and artistic techniques while fostering an appreciation for Hispanic art.
Materials Needed:
Museum exhibits featuring Hispanic sculptures or pottery
Print out copies of some of the sculptures in your museum
Clay (air-dry or oven-bake)
Sculpting tools (plastic knives, wooden sticks, modeling tools)
Tables and chairs for the workshop area
Aprons or smocks to protect clothing
